  Overload Gauge

   Overloaded? The knowledge-based economy has created a highly interdependent relationship between information overload and work overload.  Control one and you will overcome the other. The results you will find are improved effectiveness and a more work life balanced.

  • 10 - 14 = Low Overload :  Congratulations! You are doing fine. You have a well-balanced life. Be a mentor to someone who needs your help. It will do you good.

  • 15 - 20= Managed Overload:  You are doing well. Watch for overload traps.

  • 20 - 34= Danger Zone: You are overloaded. Learn to prioritize and filter wisely. Put more "think time" in your life. Learn to filter more effectively. Seek help before you get worse.

  • 35 - 50= Highly Overloaded : Things may be out of control. You need immediate changes. Redefine your roles, goals, and priorities. Seek help as soon as you can.
